Staples was looking for engaging way to promote their “PC-a-Day Giveaway” contest and to lead customers to weekly deals featured on their mobile website.
The Scanlife Solution
Staples placed QR Codes on circulars and in store signage that connected shoppers to a variety of exclusive content. Users could scan the code to enter into the “PC-a-Day Giveaway” contest by giving their name and email address. On other circulars, a separate code linked to a mobile page that displayed different deals the user could obtain. Due to the campaigns execution of both placement and content, Staples received thousands of scans over a 4-week period.
